Glen Coe Photography Workshop

Join us for a small group workshop based around the famous Glen Coe area. Locations that we will visit may include Glen Coe, Glen Etive, Kilchurn Castle, Buachaille Etive Mor, Clachaig Falls, Rannoch Moor, Black Rock Cottage amongst many others however the exact locations will be determined by the weather forecast on the day but my extensive knowledge of the Glen Coe area will ensure that whatever the weather you will come away with some fantastic images and the knowledge to produce fantastic images in the future. If there are any specific locations that you have in mind please let me know and I will do my best to accommodate.

This course is a small group workshop for up to 3 attendees. The workshop is run as a photography tour with expert tuition and guidance included if requested.

A moderate level of fitness is required as there will be a some walking although, unless agreed prior to booking, we will not be climbing any mountains. Please wear appropriate footwear and bring waterproof clothing as well as an umbrella and towels. The Highlands can be an inhospitable place with frequent and dramatic weather changes so please bring warm clothing. I advise bringing a packed lunch as we do not always pass any cafes/shops.

Workshops and tours usually start approximately 7-7.5 hours before sunset and conclude just after sunset or when the light fades. Please note that we do try to keep things flexible and will look to change the start time if necessary.

Every group workshop is for a maximum of 3 people. A minimum of 2 attendees are required for the tour to go ahead. If we do not get this number, the tour may be cancelled. If this is the case, we will give at least 72 hours notice. No costs incurred (eg accommodation by the attendee) will be covered.

Who is this for?

All group workshops are aimed at beginners and intermediate photographers. If you are needing technical support and guidance with your camera, please ensure you bring the camera manual (digital or physical) on the day of the workshop.
